an installation road map.
Take time to read the booklet accompanying the CD-ROM.If you no longer have
this booklet then refer to the file WARP.TXT on this CD-ROM. If possible
print this document.

Road Map
========
Do you have a CD-ROM drive on your PC?
YES = Continue
NO = You can not install OS/2 Warp Try and Buy
Do you have Windows on your PC?
YES = You must have the Windows diskettes available or the CD-ROM
that you installed Windows from.
NO = You will not be able to use Windows with your OS/2 Warp V3
Try and Buy but you can install it anyway.
Have you a Sound Card in your PC?
1) Check that it works under DOS
2) Check that it works under Windows
3) Make a note of the Base I/O Address, Interrupt Setting and DMA
If points 1, 2 and 3 are not verified you may have problems with
sound under OS/2 Warp V3
4) Check whether your Sound Card is supported by OS/2 Warp
If your Sound Card is not supported by OS/2 Warp or is not a
compatibble card you will have to obtain the drivers from the
sound card manufacturer. Otherwise Multimedia support will be
incomplete.
You have a CD-ROM Drive in your PC.
1) Check that it works under DOS
If your CD-ROM Drive is a Panasonic, Mitsumi or Sony or compatible
type :
1) Make a note of the I/O Adapter Port Address
If your Adapter does not use default addresses you need to
know them for OS/2 Warp installation.
If you have another type of CD-ROM Drive :
1) Check that it is in the list of supported CD-ROM drives in the
WARP.TXT file.
Display Adapter
1) Check that it is in the list of supported Display adapters in the
WARP.TXT file.
If not : Install OS/2 Warp in Standard VGA mode
Run the CDINST programme to create the 2 installation diskettes.
Re-Boot your PC.
No Problems. CONTINUE.
